Dr. Melissa Huang
A lifelong eastern suburbs resident, Melissa attended Glen Waverley Secondary College and completed her dental degree at the University of Melbourne, where she graduated as one of the top students in her class. Melissa graduated with honours and received the Tuckfield and Shepherd Prize for the highest achievement in prosthodontics. Melissa has practiced for a number of years in the Mornington Peninsula, in Camberwell and at the prestigious Paris end of Collins St, before relocating her dental practice to Blackburn.
Melissa enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a particular interest in Periodontics (gum disease treatment), Endodontics (root canal treatment), Implant Dentistry and Pediatrics. She prides herself on being a gentle and caring dentist and has helped many people overcome their dental phobia. Melissa strives to provide quality dental care that is tailored to her patients’ individual needs. She has also volunteered her time and dental services in Cambodia to helping underprivileged children through the non-profit Mlop Tapang organisation.
